Berlar t'Terra eh Zhilikam

Below you will find Terran bears and terminology that you might find associated with them, including species that have died out and some prehistoric ursines. By the time of the Federation, only three species of bears were still living in the wild - the North American black bear, the Asian black bear and the brown bear. The grizzly bear and polar bear existed only in zoos. All the other species had become extinct, mostly during World War III and the Post Atomic Horror. ( indicates bears that were extinct before the 20th Century.)
