Zhilikam t'°Tam'a eh Ko-Osu Myu'ihr°
In their long history, the Vulcans did not have much in the way of supernatural movies or television programs, due to cultural reasons. Supernatural comedies are an almost uniquely Terran thing, although several other cultures had something like them. The Ghost & Mrs. Muir (1968-70) television series was based on a book by Josephine Aimee Leslie (under the pen name R.A. Dick), which had been filmed in 1947 as a drama movie, which is one of the director's favorite movies. Vulcans find it hard to understand the Terran sitcom comedy genre, and have an extremely difficult time undertanding the broad humor of the series. The dramatic movie is better understood. The names of the characters differ somewhat in the movie and the television series, as well as the setting and time. The movie takes place in early 20th Century England, whereas the television series takes place in later 20th Century America.
Below you will find names and terminology that you might find associated with The Ghost & Mrs. Muir movie and television series. (Names are listed in pure alphabetical order by title, if any, first name then last name, since names are sorted using the Vulcan standard.) Ⓜ indicates a character from the motion picture. Ⓢ indicates a character from the television series.
