MH-Paklar t'Ahkh-Wak

This page deals with Terran ships and submarines lost during the time of war and related terminology from the 15th to the 21st Centuries on the sea, rivers and lakes. This includes European wars, the War of 1812, the American Civil War, the Russo-Japanese War, World War I, World War II, Korea, Vietnam, the Falklands War and various Middle Eastern conflicts.

This page only deals with ships and submarines lost during military action during the time of war from torpedoes, mines, gunnery, bombs, etc., or which disappeared on missions and were assumed to be lost due to enemy action. This page does not include ships that were salvaged and returned to action. The USS Maine is not found here, for example, because there was no war at the time it exploded, or ships that were lost due to friendly fire or were destroyed to prevent capture, such as the Graf Spee. (Because of its significance, RMS Lusitania will have its own future page.)
